In July, all lovers of great food and fine wine will once again be in for another Wine & Gourmet event at the Tiffany restaurant.
It is a popular and traditional gathering for all those who like to learn about, try and, above all, enjoy wine and gastronomy.
The focus will be on the excellent FERDINAND WINE FROM GORIŠKA BRDA, which will perfectly round off the 4-course menu prepared by Park’s chefs de cuisine under the guidance of Executive Chef Adi Blaško.
The style of the Ferdinand wine house is shaped today by Matjaž Četrtič, an agronomist who knew from a young age that he wanted to become a winemaker. In doing so, he revived a family tradition, as winemaking was already a successful pursuit of his great-grandfather Ferdinand’s family.
The first and most important grape variety in the Ferdinand cellar is Rebula, which they devote great attention to and feature in all their wine lines – as a fresh wine (classic Rebula), aged in oak barrels (Época), as a macerated Rebula (Brutus), and in the sparkling wine Sinefinis. Rebula is a variety of endless possibilities, expressing the essence of the Brda region in the most direct way.
