From Trieste airport to Nova Gorica by bus!

In 2025, when Nova Gorica and Gorizia share the title of European Capital of Culture, an Italian bus operator is introducing a cross-border route between Trieste Airport (Aeroporto di Trieste) and Gorizia/Nova Gorica.
Bus transportation will be available from Friday to Sunday at the exceptionally low price of €5.60. Children up to 10 years old (accompanied by parents or guardians) travel for free.
This initiative marks an important step towards sustainable mobility and further strengthens the ties between the two cities, which, in the spirit of the European Capital of Culture 2025, continue to build a shared future.
